Is Baby Powder the new Setting Powder?

Is Baby Powder thimage1 (2)e new Setting Powder?

You may be thinking how I discovered this; well a few weeks ago I went to 5 different stores looking for my go to setting powder which is normally the Rimmel London Match perfection ‘silky loose face powder.’

However after finding out these 5 stores were all out of stock, I turned to baby powder after watching a YouTube video I thought I would give it a go.  To give you a short background on my skin, I am combination to oily skin especially in my T – zone, therefore my main concern was to see if this powder would be able to contain my oily zone and keep it matte all day.

After using this product for around 3 months, using it for my everyday setting powder I think I am able to give a fair review on this product. I do still use the baby powder which is a good sign, for £1 I got 200g Baby Powder/talc in Boots which is lasting a life time compared to the 10g Rimmel London Match perfection ‘silky loose face powder.’

I do think the product works and you can barely tell the difference, like I said my skin is pretty oil so by around 4:30pm my nose area will be looking slightly shiny but you can always touch this up. I wouldn’t necessarily pick this product to wear on a night out or an event but for day to day I definitely would.

My normal go to setting powders are; Mac Loose Setting Powder, Mac Prep and Prime Transparent Finishing powder, Illamasqua Setting Powder and also the one listed above Rimmel London Match perfection ‘silky loose face powder.’

Give it a go and let me know what you think!
