I don’t know about you but me, I love to mask and after this week my skin was in need of a little TLC and this is the perfect way to detox your skin.
Face, Hair, Body – I just love a good mask.
It’s one of those things that just makes me relax, pop it on and just chill for 10 minutes, a little bit of me time.
Now, I’m not sure if you’ve seen but the body shop is making a huge come back in my eyes. Especially with their new masks and skincare range; the packaging, ingredients and products are just incredible!! Just before Christmas I stumbled across their new products and I just needed to try it out. First I brought my mum a few masks and now I’ve got my own collection.
The 4 masks I picked;
Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask
Ethiopian Honey Deep Nourishing Mask
British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask
I love these masks, each one is just like the label. The Ethiopian Honey Deep Mask is literally as if your applying honey to your skin and the softness of my skin afterwards is crazy.
How I prepare for masking;
Wash your face (cleanse x2)
Exfoliate (1 / 2 times a week)
Apply mask and leave for 5-10 minutes – don’t be afraid to double mask (applying different mask in different areas dependent on your skin)
Wash off (Flannel / Muslim cloth)
My advice to you would be to mask at least once a week but ultimately if you don’t find skincare a huge necessity in your life then once a month would be better than nothing.
or a sleeping mask would be ideal to kill two birds with one stone (moisturising & masking.)
